Ubud Food Festival 2015



June 2015 – Ubud, well-known as the ministry of arts always lives to present festivals & events along the year. This June, a Food Festival which involves tens food experts was held. The event that attracted hundreds visitors aimed to celebrate the richness and diversity of Indonesian culture & culinary.
Uniting some of Indonesia’s most celebrated chefs, international restaurateurs helping to shape the archipelago’s culinary landscape and industry heavy-weights to experience Indonesia’s extraordinary cuisine, Ubud Food Festival served up a program rich in food mythology, authenticity and of course, taste.
Embarking on a three-day adventure with Indonesian food as the star, the program spanned Cooking Demonstrations, Workshops and Masterclasses, Food Forums, Markets, Food Tours & Movie Screening. Bringing together lovers of food, travel and culture from across Indonesia, Southeast Asia and the globe, Ubud Food Festival created a sustainable, world-class culinary event that showcases Indonesia’s diverse cuisine, innovative chefs and extraordinary local produce.

Ubud Food Festival is a major annual project of the Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati, with a vision of enriching the lives of Indonesians through community-building and cultural programs. Attending the event brought you to another wider point of view of culinary which cannot be separated from culture & philosophy.
