NEW APPOINTMENT OF ITALIAN CHEF-RICCARDO DELL'ASCENZA
Hotel Borobudur Jakarta is delighted to announce that Chef Riccardo Dell’Ascenza has joined the Hotel Borobudur Jakarta culinary team as the Executive Chef at our Italian restaurant Bruschetta. A native Italian – Chef Riko, as we call him, is a true culinary professional and enthusiastic hotelier.
Chef Rico started his culinary journey in Italy in 1987. Since then, he has been working at five star hotels all over the world. His journeys have taken him to luxury hotels, resorts and restaurants Sri Lanka, Egypt, Russia, Italy and London. Just prior to taking on his latest role at the “Bruschetta” in Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, he served as Chef de Cuisine at Cinnamon Grand, part of the Keells Group in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Chef Riccardo speaks Italian, English and Russian. He is a member of the “Italian Federation of Chefs” and was awarded a Star in Salerno 2009 for his 20 years working in restaurant & hotel.
Chef Riccardo’s appointment at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta is expected to bring exciting changes to the menu at Bruschetta Italian Restaurant.
