Galungan is celebrated once in 6 months of Bali Calendar. The festival is also as a remembrance of the good (dharma) triumphs over evil (adharma). Balinese families will entertain and welcome the Day with prayers and offerings, along with ceremonies to cleanse and balance the inner and outer energy of the island.
